2. Absolutely! Thom Hartman has long focused on the case of Don Siegelman, and the incredible mistrial.

A major player behind the scenes was Karl Rove, who was friends with the prosecuting attorney, the attorney general in the state, etc.

Gov. Don Siegelman goes to sleep one night comfortably ahead in the reelection vote, but when he wakes up, it is suddenly discovered that the Republicans have "uncovered" a cache of votes that all favor Don Siegelman, and that never show any votes for anyone else.

Gov. Siegelman disputed this and was then incarcerated after a kangaroo court for many years and was told not to contact the press, etc.a

Gov. Siegelman was released several months ago and is now able to talk about his incarceration.


This is certainly a case of Tom Hartmann has followed closely.
