I believe they will go for the less powerful first, and get evidence on Trump and his family from there.

I'm not sure about that. Jared and Jr. are privileged little panty waist cowards. Flynn is a military man, so tougher by nature. But nobody has his back, and supposedly Chump would defend the kids. But when push comes to shove, I believe Dim Don will casually throw his own under the bus. That malignant narcissist really only cares about himself.

The bill in Congress that says the Prez cannot fire a Special Prosecutor needs to hurried through. Without the law, Trump knows the Republicans will holler and scream but that is all.

If they had enough to search w/o prior notification, something tipped them off to the possibility of destruction of potential evidence...evidence worth destroying...

Thus, they are aware of potential evidence (in Manafort's hands)...where did they get this notion from???

tRUMP circle had a limited number of folks, Flynn, Corey Lewandowski, son-in-law, Donnie t junior, etc., all who seem to come crawling out from underneath a rock...

Also, when you consider Russia connections and all of the mobsters that control a significant part of the Russian economy (and Putin's buddies too)...probably have many other potential searches in store...and quickly too, before more evidence is destroyed/trails destroyed/obscured...
