5. Damn! No NBC here. No cable either.

There is no NBC affiliate station in rural west Michigan. And there's no cable TV here either. The only Internet is via the cellular networks or satellite, and that is only very recently. Both have severe monthly download limits. Useless for video streaming.

The Manistee National Forest is rather pretty, but tech infrastructure does not get out here. No NBC either.

8. i live in detroit area.......

had to drive all the way to Ironwood for work once. as i drove across the UP........... forever......... kept thinking, what do people up here DO???????? I mean, i would drive for miles and just see 1 driveway and no comemrcial places at all.

9. Retired. House is paid for.

Perpetually behind in my property taxes. House needs some repairs. But otherwise, okay considering living on pretty shitty low social security.

Winters are tough. House is heated by fuel oil. Expensive.

Thankfully I am very frugal.
