Trump is setting McConnell up to be the fall guy.

I was just watching someone on MSNBC saying it makes no sense for Trump to attack Mitch. Its stupid. Wrong, when are people going to figure out how evil and sick Trump is. Trump would turn on his own children to protect himself from looking bad or taking blame for anything.

Trump is attacking Mitch in order to pressure him to do what every it takes to get Trumps ideas passed. This includes the removing of the filibuster. Trump is telling him I will blame everything on you if you don't do what I want. He does this with everybody. He's fucking evil.

Turtle man is smarter than Trump. Sure he's a mental midget compared to John McCain with brain cancer, but he's smarter and more clever than Trump by leaps and bounds. That's how stupid and infantile Trump is.

Trump doesn't understand how powerful the Senate is, and that senators tend to stick together. Even Dem senators are likely to defend McConnell over Trump because they will want to protect the power of the legislative branch (and they probably hate trump even more than they hate McConnell, who is one of them even despite all his BS). He will never get any legislation passed if the Senate refuses to cooperate - this is a fight he can't win.

And if he thinks his "base" will help him out, he should be aware that even though people hate Congress in general, they tend to like their own representatives and senators.

the Senate will chew them up and spit them into the garbage can. The end of Trump is going to be one heck of a Xmas gift.

Why does everyone assume McConnell is a shoe in for reelection ..... would this not be the time others would take advantage and campaign in Kentucky ? Looks like he is under 50 percent approval in his state .... from a fox article

He has not given any indication that he cares enough about doing the job to find out what a president even does.

McConnell is no different. He'll be blamed as needed, made nice to, then blamed again...but Trump will project his failings onto anyone and everyone.
