Douthat is similar - he pushes right wing talking points. But only about 50-75% of Douthat's columns are pure right wing talking points. Douthat sometimes has an original idea (even if those ideas are a bit stunted because he's never had a real job). 100% of Jacoby's columns that I have read are regurgitated talking points.

P.s. and Carr is worse at least Jacoby is held back from really hateful stuff, presumably by the Globe staff.

Not sure these guys realize, but Massachusetts is a hugely progressive state. There are a lot of enlightened people there. There are some Trump voters who have been brainwashed by the Murdoch Boston Herald, but not all that many.

Massachusetts is the place where a local Fox station changed their affiliation because so many Mass residents associated them with the hate of Fox News. Also Boston cops set a good example for dealing with hate crimes, for the most part.

There could be a HUGE counter protest if they show up in Boston. They couldn't pick a worse place for them.
