and Progressives are optimistic and energetic. Remember that those Nazis allowed themselves to be photographed. We know who they are.

The one who fight might lose. The one who don't, have already lost.

I don't know if it is really an advice, but for me, it is a strong conviction.

By the way, we are a lot to fight, keep faith.

My best thoughts to you, from Belgium

4. Charlottesville is only the beginning: using violence to rescind civil rights.

This is just the beginning: Charlottesville will happen across the country.

Trump will use this violence to create states of emergency where police and National Guard will be called in to arrest protestors against white nationalism. Then he will claim "emergency powers" to silence all opposition and stop the investigations.

In the past dictators have organized armed bands to attack the “enemies” of the state using such violence to rescind civil rights. Trump has dog-whistled armed bands to attack his “enemies” with impunity.

Every day Trump is eviserating our democracy, working toward a one-party system that will be under his control. All by legitimate means.

Trump has also created the NK crisis by leaking information that he then uses to escalate fears of war.

This is not coincidence: Trump is fighting for his life. He cannot allow the Russia/Trump investigation to go forward. Its just not minor financial crimes and innocent collusion with Russia. The investigation will ruin his career.

Rachel is wondering why Trump has not lawyered up with a tip-top financial/fraud team. But the reasons are simple: Trump cannot even let his lawyers know the extent of his malfeasance and he is planning to end the investigations. And he is using violence to accrue more powers.

We cannot wait for investigations to end.

then it will take awhile to repair the mess he has made.

Sorry to destroy any faith you had left.

Long short etc. the universe doesn't give a shit. Our future is up to us, or perhaps that meteor we don't know about headed our way.
