Since Trump became president, things that were once shocking are being normalized.
Think about it. Look at all the things that Trump and his supporters (with the press enabling) have dragged out of their dark closets. The appalling things they have shoved in our faces are pushing their twisted views into the forefront of of our society. It is changing us, and not for the better. For example:
Pussy grabbing is now normal, red blooded manly behavior.
Egging on violence and mayhem to deliberately injure people and scare them, is normal and justifiable.
Threaten to jail former political opponents, like any Banana Republic, is a cause for cheering... a perfectly normal response.
Inviting foreign enemies into the inner sanctum of the White House to share a cup of Joe and a few state secrets, also normal business in Trump's new order.
There are dozens of other examples things we consider beyond the pale just a few months ago, but no matter how appalling they are, these behaviors are being normalized and the general public is swallowing everything.
