Did Any Of The 5 Mitt Interviewers Today Ever Nail Him On Anything?

I ask, because i was disheartened by the NBC excerpts I saw on The Ed Show.

The interviewer starts off asking Romney about his signature on the SEC docs from 2000 & 2001. The conversation then wanders off to Mitt saying he gave up running the company in 1999. The interviewer than asks him if he made any business calls or took any meetings with Bain after 1999. Mitt says "no."

The next logical question to ask is, "THEN WHY ARE YOU LISTED AS THE PRESIDENT-CEO-SOLE SHAREHOLDER OF BAIN ON THESE SEC DOCS FROM 2000-2001, AND WHY DID YOU SIGN THEM?"

But I didn't hear him ask the question. Did he ask the question? Did any of them ask the question? Or was Mitt allowed to stonewall and not answer to 5 different interviewers?

I think he's going to be able to sweep it under the rug. If there's nothing illegal he will be able to write it off as one of those mysterious business technicalities that few people understand. Unfortunately, we will be painted as over the top negative because of the felony comment.

3. It'll get swept under the rug with the SEC and the media's complicity

SEC won't do a damn thing and the media just fawningly kisses his baby-stepping ass, never asking him a direct question - they actively avoid them. Unless the perp is a Democrat. Or, a woman (ie: Martha Stewart), or both.

Not as long as the Obama campaign keeps up the pressure with the ads and additional revelations on Bain and Romney's tax avoidance schemes. Eventually he'll have to release more years of returns. The Obama campaign is really playing hardball on this Bain angle and it's working (Romney finally had to talk to someone besides FOX) so I don't think they'll let up on Rmoney.

...Candidate, particularly the ones during the time periods in question? Is that question off limits?

6. They should have asked: ''If you were not the CEO 1999-2002 then WHO was?''

But I never heard anyone ask that and Romney would not have been able to answer because he DID sign those SEC documents stating that he WAS the CEO.

And he also owned 100% of the Bain stock too.

8. The Obama campaign needs to keep hammering on this

They need to keep hammering on this until one of the two occur:

1- Rmoney fesses up completely and truthfully or
2- Rmoney drops out of the race.

I pray that they will.
