What evidence was actually shown that NK had miniaturised nukes?

I know this is not the current topic but I was wondering what evidence was shown that NK had successfully miniaturised nuclear ICBM nukes? I know it was reported that this was a fact but what evidence has been shown?

Sorry I'm not very familiar with all the departments of the US government, I'm Canadian. What you said though is what I thought, that we and the media have been taking a government report on their word alone. Obviously they are not going to release classified information that could compromise information about the US nuclear arsenal. But that doesn't mean they couldn't release ANY information. Even a redacted report would be better than nothing. I'm not saying that NK has NOT miniaturised nukes. I'm sure they want to and have been exploring how to. But doing so is not a simple task and they had trouble getting any nuclear program up and running. It seems like quite a convenient occurance that Trump is in dire straits and suddenly a distraction like this arrises.

In addition, the conclusion is based on the normal number of nuclear tests it takes to miniaturize (N. Korea is past that in tests confirmed by more than one country.)

Is it dead solid - no. But much more so than quesionable, single-source- information we've had in the past.

3. I think it was a educated guess..

...they detonated their 1st nuke 11 years ago, they should be close by now. The Pakistani's managed it and the N Korean's will too. Hard to say if it will survive a lift off and re-entry with out testing but the design can be worked out.
The US did it 60 years ago with much more primitive technology with the Atlas ICBM warhead.
