I did hear from a Trump supporting relative yesterday.

I wasn't sure if I should post this. Almost feels like gloating. This guy had been ran over by the "system" for years. He had been a steelworker then got a job in a mine . He had been making $35.00 an hour was about to retire with a great pension and 401k plan and the housing market crash. He lost half of his 401k. He was push out of his job because his wage was too much. He figured with his pension and what was left of the 401k he could manage. The pension had been gambled by the employer in stock market as well. He had it with the 2 party system. Felt no one was really watching after him. Trump caught his attention. Trump "spoke" like he did. He said that once. Trump didn't sound like a politician. I warned this relative about Trump. How he inspired violence and hate. He blew my warning off. It's just talk. Believe it or not in a certain section in the rust belt saying I'd punch him in the mouth or the like is a figure of speech. You might think two people are in a argument about to start throwing punches but in reality it is two friends talking maybe debating an issue.

Yesterday saw this relative and he still was stunned. He said he served in the military. His life was even saved by a black man. He never thought he would actually see what happened in Charlottesville ever happen again. He watch the civil rights movement unfold.

When I was a boy these people (Nazi/KKK) hid their faces. Now they are so proud to cause all this violence. In his conversation with me he only call him Trump. Never said President.

People are starting to come to their senses - he still has plenty of support in the darkest of hearts but those who just wanted to give him a chance are beginning to see him for what he is.

One of my twitter feed the other day said that.

There's plenty of curiosity and questioning on the left about why (in the hell) people on the right support trump.
But the lack of curiosity on the right about why so many are vehemently opposed to trump is a big problem. They don't try to understand, they just try to argue.
