Conservatives ( with principals ) absolutely need to help in this. It's a a scourge within our country - but a disease within their body politic specifically. Think about voices like Richard Painter and Rick Wilson who are willing to admit that their party has become not just led astray , but actively became a risk to us all. Conservatives must come out against Trump's embrace of these Nazis.

We on the left can only do so much in this environment where we will NEVER be listened to by these beainwashed alt right fucks. Actual conservatives that don't want to go full fascist better get together and help us save American democracy.

6. we have no choice

we are entering a very violent era in our history. Experts beleive there are as many as 300k active white supremacists/domestic terroritst ready to be deployed. This is not counting millions of non-violent sympathizers that are eager to contribute financially and by voting. Trump is. onvetting gop into far right extremist party and he is quite succesfull at that. Russia is prepared to pump large amount of money via shell LLCs to add fuel.

And, if there's any parliamentary/logistical way to do it, Democrats should support the coming to power of Republican leaders in the house and/or senate who will defend democratic norms against this very real threat.
