Did Trump Just Try To Blame the Left for Violence in Charlottesville, VA.?

It seems to me that Trump just tried to blame the left for the violence that happened in Charlottesville, VA. He made it seems like the white supremacists were just defending themselves from the attacking left. He also seemed to be saying the left did not have a right to be at the protest since he claimed they did not have permits. So, he seemed to be blaming the whole event on the left.

Obviously a trump supporter concept. Well, at least now we know for sure where it came from.

There's no such thing as the "alt-left." There's no group on the left that even calls itself that, while "alt-right" is a label some right-wing extremists have been voluntarily using for several years now (so they can avoid being called Nazis, I guess).

He actually said the "alt left" came "charging in", "with clubs", "very very violent". So yes, he did blame the left for the violence.

People have to remember what the term "alt left" term means. It started with the alt right people just to try to make liberals look as bad as they are. We shouldn't even be talking about any alt left.
