Donald Trump's first statement regarding Charlottesville should have included wording similar to this statement. Those are the words a country should hear from its President. It would have been very powerful if President Trump had said, in his first statement, that more than 70 years ago American soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines went to Europe and defeated Fascism and Nazism and we as a nation cannot and will not move backward.
