Of all the lies, the biggest lie Trump told: "Many were there to protest taking down the statue."
He apparently missed the part about this being a "Unite the Right" rally. It had nothing to do with statues other than that the statue was a convenient rallying point. This whole "protect the statues" cry is a Bannon inspired AltRight meme.
