unless the House votes a bill of Impeachment. And yes, we would get Pence, who pretends to be a Christian.

He's a super-xian, in fact.

Christianity is fine with slavery. Jesus was OK with slavery, as was St Paul, who instructed slave owners on how to treat their slaves.

As did Aristotle, Plato, Diogenes (who himself was born a slave), Socrates, Pythagoras, and Archimedes. "Super-philosophers," in fact.

"aren't real Xians."

Wrong. They are Xians. In fact, the "most Xian" Xians are probably the ones who actually believe all of the nonsense in the Buy-bull. The lukewarm Xians are those who take their Xianity with a healthy dose of enlightenment thought. They only hang onto the Xian label out of guilt or fear of ostracization.

Yes, Pence is a scary Dominionist. We know this. We also know that he is popular with some in the party, but not in general. He took the job because he saw the writing on the wall in Indiana. If Trump resigns, which I highly doubt, but if he does, we are going to see a big fight in the Republican Party among the White Supremacist base and the establishment. They will be dealing with the fallout for quite some time, so we will not be seeing any major legislation coming out of a Pence administration. Besides, there is probably good evidence that Pence was also aware of, if not involved in the Russia business. He was after all, highly pushed by Manafort to join the Trump ticket.

Plus if he steps in to a crumbled administration he'll have to be a little low key, while we can continue the investigations

It works about how you think it would. Let's get rid of Trump first. If Pence didn't learn anything from that example, we'll get rid of him, too. If whoever Pence selects as his Vice President gets in, we'll see how he is, and follow through accordingly. By that time, we'll be well on the way to the 2020 election, and the Republican brand should be quite toxic.

We can't wish for or support a white supremacist neo-Nazi president to stay in office. There's a line and that's way beyond it.

More like a case of trading a loud and proud racist for a sly racist with theocratic beliefs.

Both are bad, very bad, in their own ways. Not really a case of who is worse, to my thinking. Because they are both dangerous for the country.

They're like being stabbed to death or slowly poisoned to death.

Stabbing is more violent in appearance. While the slow poison kind of sneaks up on you but there's no obvious signs until it's too late.

That said, Trump has to go.

Then Pence has to go.

Pence would be hog tied and government would probably be in stasis until '18. Then there would be the chance of making him lame until '20. It's a long haul but the least problematic would be a lame Pence. The only possible ugly would be the dominionist evangelicals looking for war to summon Jesus to save them. Not sure how well that would play after the Trump fiasco.

Hopefully we'll win back Congress in 2018 and President Pence will get very little done before handing it over to the next President.
