They want to do business with everybody because it's simply more profitable. But I don't care why people do the right thing as long as they do the right thing.

People who believe in fairy tales, there's no reasoning with them. Would their hero Jesus be against healthcare, anti-tolerance, anti-immigrant, pro-facism, pro-tax cuts for the rich? Doubt it, but explain that to Xtians.

to heaven or whatever it is that they believe. Whatever the case, it shows me that CEOs are more likely to do the right thing than religious people. Money/boycotts are powerful motivators; their immortal souls, not so much. They remind me of the quote by 17th Century philosopher Blaise Pascal: "Men never do evil more completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."

Draining everything mystical, spiritual, and justice-related from religion... turning it into a cold machine that is a part of power, profits, dominant narratives, and the status quo.
