(7,220 posts)People who believe in fairy tales, there's no reasoning with them. Would their hero Jesus be against healthcare, anti-tolerance, anti-immigrant, pro-facism, pro-tax cuts for the rich? Doubt it, but explain that to Xtians.

(34,372 posts)to heaven or whatever it is that they believe. Whatever the case, it shows me that CEOs are more likely to do the right thing than religious people. Money/boycotts are powerful motivators; their immortal souls, not so much. They remind me of the quote by 17th Century philosopher Blaise Pascal: "Men never do evil more completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."
