It's an emergency meeting to try to do damage control on Trump's comments yesterday.

I think it's far too early for them to be talking about resignation...he's still polling in the mid to upper 30s. He'd need to sink into at least the mid 20s before resigning. Nixon was at 24 when he stepped down.

Maybe they think Mueller is onto something big, but I also feel like if the big bombshell was about to drop, we would have heard something, anything, and we haven't.

Can't imagine them bombing North Korea considering North Korea actually stepped back yesterday.

Trump last Friday said military options were a consideration in Venezuela. That shocked people but that night is when the torch lit nazi event happened which kicked the Venezuela remarks off the news.

At some point early upon arrival he will be drugged. He will remain asleep for a number of hours. Upon awakening he will be told that he has suffered a serious illness and must stand down temporarily to assure his recovery. Pence will step in. This will give the base a period of time to adjust. Of course they will feel this is the compassionate solution.
