His family knows he has "lost it"

.....I think he will resign soon..........

If, and I say if.....the family cares about him,and if the family can talk him into it, for his own good, then they will get him to resign very soon. The anger is beyond sensible and destructive to him. The family knows it, and is totally aware of it. "Soon" in my opinion is within the next two weeks. Why? This is destroying him and his brand, forever...by leaving and issuing an apology, (not much of one, but something) he will try to save the brand for his children.. And perhaps save himself.
...Of course, most will say. "very remote chance" and " impossible" True, but this whole thing, including his election and the rest of it, is unlikely, very remote chance, and not possible.
.Well, his resignation is possible, and could happen soon.

me me me is all about the Trump brand and their own future prospects.

They are morally bankrupt and ethically clueless so they certainly won't do the right thing for the right reasons. But they might do it for the wrong ones (personally, I fervently hope that the situation has already gone too far for them to recover the "brand&quot .

and they know it.

Right now, they are hiding under the blankets, hoping ANYONE ELSE will dig him out of his own trench.

This is how regular families work, and if you're lucky enough to have one, you know I'm right.

The person with the money makes ALL the calls, unless and until anyone else gives up rights to the money.

And money is the only thing these morons value.

If fRump had the capacity to care about anyone, or the brains to understand anything, he'd hire a lawyer to back him out of the job, get everyone pardoned, and plea for no jail time, with or without his businesses, and go live in scotland forever.

Not. Holding. My. Breath.

None of his family have shown any inclination at all to "give up the money." I think we would have heard rumors of any possible Trump defectors by now, and there hasn't been anything at all.

Family-wise, that only leaves the possibility of part of the family deciding to save themselves, maybe through plea bargaining. Jared?

would either resign or get him to resign (or get him thrown out). It might be that the true patriots would want to stay on for the love of and future of the country--not turn it over to Trump and his ilk.

So that leaves trying to remove him, by threats or force. He's toxic.

have suffered the abuse that comes with it for their whole lives. Unfortunately the secondary psychotics in the family are locked in a cycle that is very difficult to break, even if you desperately want to escape. The primary convinces everyone that their well being depends on Don alone, and they rush to keep him sated because a bellowing angry Daddy Don is a terrifying monster indeed, especially for kids. But they must keep that secret, for everybody's sake.

Spend more time with family is overused and a poor fit. Dementia is my top prediction because it elicits sympathy and displaced blame.

Trump has completely marginalized himself politically at this point and even the Republicans now want him gone.

They are anti-America at this point anyways. Ivanka got her China patents approved. They have other markets and don't really need the U.S. Donald just wanted to get in and get his way with the sanctions, etc., so they can do business with Russia.

They don't care about the brand in the U.S.

I've thought he would resign, too, so I can see what you're saying. I do think he'll wind up resigning.

The kids use the brand "scion" for their hotels and properties. The new budget hotels for working class people are called "American idea". They are not using the trump name anymore, because they know it's toxic unless you're trying to get a Saudi prince or a Russian mobster.

He may yet resign but I feel it will be more for health reasons than for financial ones.
