You know, like how President Obama went to Newtown after the Sandy Hook shooting?
Or President Clinton at Oklahoma City.
I wouldn't want him within 1000 miles of wherever it happened. He ruins absolutely everything.

We can't have arguably the finest, most decent human being to hold the office of the Presidency to be eulogized by the very worst human being to be President.

I'm going to carry Connecticut next election, believe me. Anyways, sorry about the dead kids or whatever. Let's make America great again!"

The fake news media is saying that I never said those things about her or the KKK, but I did. And the cities in this country are tearing down their heritage. This is bad. Very bad. But we will make America great again!"

Which he will. He's doubling down every day.
Charlottesville is a beautiful, mostly liberal, city. He would not be welcomed by the locals there.

(101,265 posts)to prevent embarrassment. Other Republicans have some sense of decorum in a tragedy. But you really couldn't trust Trump to behave like a sorrowful human being, since he doesn't care about other people. He'd make it about himself, at the minimum. Look at Charlottesville - he ended up claiming he owned his son's winery, and exaggerating its size, just to make it about himself.
