I posted it all beccause he sent this to all contacts, intentionally to dissemminate as widely as possible.
Dear Friends,
White supremacy in any form has no place in our society, our politics or our civil discourse. It takes surpassing ignorance, total moral bankruptcy and a pathetic sense of entitlement to have marched with the KKK and neo-Nazis in Charlottesville. I am shocked I need to say so, much less to tell the President of the United States.
I condemn the violence in Charlottesville and the hateful ideology behind the late night march and the daytime rally. I stand strongly on the side of marginalized populations and will do all I can to support both them and the quest for true equality as vile forces seek to draw us back decades, even centuries into the troubled past.
But concern and condemnation stretches beyond the evil of white supremacy. If you shake enough basements in our country, youll have no problem finding a few thousand bigots who identify as white supremacists and Nazis. We now face the President's vile rhetoric and spineless equivocation, underscored by his inability to speak with moral clarity and forcefully declare that nothing could justify the violent behavior exhibited by racist demonstrators this past weekend.
I stand aghast with the rest of the nation and leaders in both parties at the President's equivocation on this fundamental principle of decency. He betrays the ideals and legacy of the country he leads - a country which paid with the lives of millions of its people to defeat white supremacy and Nazism.
My heart breaks for the family of Heather Heyer, a dedicated activist and victim of Saturdays domestic terror attack in Charlottesville. I mourn for the two public safety officers who died monitoring the violent rally. I stand as an ally to groups targeted by marchers, ready to amplify their voices and concerns and ensure they are never silenced. And I will do everything in my power to demand the President find the necessary moral clarity to lead our nation through this struggle.
Sincerely,
Jim

He's on the investigation committee. I told him in person at a town hall to call out 45.
