Make No Mistake About It - Bannon's Ousting Is....

being done to help the Repugs in 2018 retain the House and Senate. They are attempting to clean up the WH so as to make as good a showing in the run-up to the 2018 Midterms. Watch for more resignations or firings - Miller and Gorka - to name two. The Repugs can't be associated with alt-right or white supremacists in the WH or associated with their Party.

I don't know how they will absolve Trump of that label - but watch for them to circle the wagons around him and blame the Bannon-Miller-Gorka influence for Trump's recent comments.

Trump lives to cause harm again. At least for this Friday in August.

They knew who he was speaking to and you Bannon was when he came on later. They feared their Nazis would come out of the woodwork. They did during the primaries and it scared the hell out of the establishment. Sooner or later dogs will respond to the whistle.

to counteract the shit he has already pulled. And he won't stop creating racist, sexist chaos anyhow.

6. It's too late for that. Trump has been speaking for himself all along.

Trump isn't all of a sudden going to become a moderate establishment Republican just because Bannon is gone. Bannon was to some extent an amplifier for Trump's racist id, but Trump's beliefs won't change (Gorka and Miller are still there, after all). What got Bannon in trouble wasn't his beliefs, it was his internal squabbles with Jared and Ivanka and his grandstanding, along with Trump's suspicion that Bannon was a leaker. Trump will still be Trump.

And change their entire philosophy. Republicans are about helping the richest people to stay rich and/or become richer. That is it. They tried to use White Supremacists and Christian Dominionists to shore up their numbers, but they flew to close to the sun and now their wings are melting. If Miller and Gorka go, then a large chunk of Trump's rabid base will go too and they are not going to be replaced by voters who were reluctant because of the racism because Trump is still there and he has chosen his side.

This won't even be remembered plus he's going back to Brit Bark and most likely will get a Fox News job.

Anyone with half a brain will be able to see that the source of stench in the WH starts with the president.

10. There is no "they" and it's not the congressional Republicans that fired Bannon.

It's Trump, and he couldn't care less about the fate of the GOP or what happens in the 2018 Midterms. Trump isn't a thinker, look at how he's behaved to date, he can't process the whole complex stream of actions, reactions and consequences. The Republican Party is on their own and they are out on a limb, but they've already given the axe to Trump.
