My husband made an interesting comment at lunch today.

He said he thinks Bannon will be out looking for the "next Trump" he can groom and get elected. He said the right wing's darling Palin could be the one. He needs someone to complete his destruction of the government and continue the war on people of color and women. At first I told him he was nuts, now I think he may be on to something.

...which will then lead to the rest of the GOP Congress to finally get in line to impeach him, which will lead a special investigator to, investigate, indict, convict, incarcerate, and perhaps even more to the occupier in chief.

We experimented with an "outsider" and look what it got us. Never again.

Palin's a sad joke.

A young friend of mine keeps saying she is happy this is going on. She stayed home because the Democratic party "stole the nomination from Bernie who would have made college free". She said she stayed home "to blow up the system" and she really doesn't realize how damaging the supreme court can be in her lifetime. Nor does she see how dangerous Trump can be. She just wants Bernie in 2020 as her t-shirt says.

Bannon is a self described "Leninist" but he means Leninist prior to achieving power.

Bannon's strategy is called "Perpetual War"

While most people use conflict as a means to an end Bannon sees conflict as the objective. He can achieve his objectives only by staying in conflict. Getting into office will mean that he has to moderate and be accountable.
