Prominent right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones had a cup of coffee dumped on him Friday while filming a rant on the streets of downtown Seattle.

While clamoring about “globalist economic warfare” a passerby gave Jones the middle finger and hilarity ensured when Jones chased the man across the street.

“You aren’t an intellectual, you’re a dumb*ass,” Jones shouted at the man.

“F*ck off,” the man told Jones. “No, you f*ck off,” Jones replied. “I am f*cking off, the man said with a grin as he walked away.

The only information I need is: Was the person who tossed hot coffee onto another person being threatened and felt the only way to preserve their own safety was to attack them with a cup of hot coffee?

Or, did they just toss the hot coffee without any overt threat to their own safety?

If the former is true, then it's possibly justifiable self defense.

If the latter is true, then, clearly, unjustified.

I despise Alex Jones and his nonsense, but that doesn't mean we cast aside our own sense of justice and fairness. We don't lose our morals just because someone else doesn't have any.

Frankly, I want no part of any group who feels it's ok to throw hot boiling liquids on people they don't like.

If that's acceptable here, then count me out.

I realize there are people out there who loathe Alex Jones, but the guy pouring coffee on him will go viral. We don't know how hot that coffee was. I think that guy was a plant.

If Jones runs after a guy who gives him the finger, why would he just stand there and not react physically to another fellow who assaults him with "hot" coffee?

Watch the whole from 2:15 forward. Jones is wandering around the same corner ranting, but keeps looking up and away making eye contact with different people beyond the camera's view. He chases some guy across the street, maybe that's legit, maybe not. Much profanity is exchanged. Jones decries how horrible we all are for the profanity, then calls us all cocks, then the coffee guy calls out in the background and then things get really interesting.

Coffee guy starts to run off, Jones calls him back, and the guy obliges, runs up to Jones (not sure if he was trying to pantomime something or not) gets in Jones face, looks nervious as hell, has several laughter outbursts, exchanges words, then throws this coffee, which isn't even hot at all and Jones doesn't miss a beat. He keeps going on like nothing happened, like he expected it.

Tossing something in anybody's face gets a reaction unless you're expecting it.
