State Dept had a "outage" of unclassified email system today

Maybe very well be a nothing-burger but nowadays whenever I read about federal level IT or email issues it makes me go hmmmm...

FedScoop is a very cool website, BTW. Found it while following various links about other stuff. Has articles that gives info that is going on while drumf's circus is controlling the MSM. As does Cyberscoop https://www.cyberscoop.com/news/government/

The State Department experienced an outage of unclassified email Friday morning, an official told FedScoop.

The spokesperson said the outage was “systemwide,” reaching State networks across the globe. The outage began early Friday morning, and staff are continuing to work to bring service back online as soon as possible.

“Other communications systems are available and being used,” the spokesperson said.
