"this is going to be fun" referring to the next stage of politics. Breitbart likes wars. It is that simple. They are warmongers. They don't care who gets hurt because of the war on government just so long as they get to play big men at war. No wonder Bannon was into alt righting gamers. War is fun for them. I've had jobs where I rolled up my sleeves and worked my ass off every day and thought that was fun. But it was always about serving people, or helping people or carrying 50 pound bags of flour up stairs. Never about a war of one kind or another.

(884 posts)It has to be war, quite simply, because Bannon, with the power of Breitbart and its traffic that recently eclipsed that of ESPN, Fox News and PornHub, and backed by the Mercers, is at war with government. This is a man who is a self-professed Leninist, with the stated goal of bringing everything crashing down and destroying all of today's establishment.
Those are his actual words, not my spin on something he said, by the way.

(841 posts)They are good at blasting their opponents. I admit that I somewhat look forward to a possible civil war between conservatives although you could argue that this will likely galvanize and strengthen the far right. Maybe it would have been better for Bannon to stay with Trump and see his ideology go down the toilet with the administration. Now it looks like the far right will have another opportunity to rally their troops in a crusade against "The Establishment."

(82,849 posts)There's going to be a huge conflagration set off by the firing of Bannon, but they're pretty sure they're not the ones who are going to be burned. Big surprise coming, Christopher Cantwell.

(12,618 posts)They like to watch Iraq burn on the TV, but they don't want to go fight it themselves. They like assaulting people in large groups, bu the minute one of them has an arrest warrant put on him he cries like a little bitch, they like conflict that they can participate in from afar. But when they get a taste of it for real, they are very rarely so brave.
