Rather than take the message and learn from it, he simply looks away, thus condemning himself to continuing the sad, sad cycle of unfortunate consequences:

I suspect that he has learned there are consequences for actions. I hope he takes that lesson and grows from it.

Incidentally, he was also carrying an AR-15 at the time of the photo.
