Tweeting vs Letter Writing

People often tweet ideas that they would never write in a letter. Tweeting is instant, expression. Often to many people. Many could mean millions. Writing letters is speaking to an individual about what a person is thinking. So is "tweeting" Often people say things in "tweeting" that they would never say to a friend in a letter. Sometimes when I write a letter, I review what I am going to say, and sometimes re-write the letter.
When people "tweet" there is often no thought process. It is instant. Put it out there,,,now! This is often...very often, self defeating and very harmful. How do we know?... We know..
