"ACT For America released a statement to Breitbart, Americas number 1 website for adult virgins" "claiming that the cancellations were due to the recent violence in America and in Europe. ACT For America, which calls itself the NRA of national security, is now proclaiming Saturday, September 9th an online Day of ACTion. Its not yet clear what the organization has planned, but its probably a safe bet that it will involve plenty of shitty memes."
"ACT For America had attempted to rally its followers on Facebook, but the showing was poor to say the least. Judging by a quick perusal of the Facebook events, it seems like the organization has had very little interest from the public, which is perhaps the real reason for the cancellation.
As of this morning the RSVP list wasnt looking too promising:
Baton Rouge, Louisiana - 2 people going
Boston - 8 people going
Cape Cod - 8 people going
Mays Landing, New Jersey - 7 people going
Sebring, Florida - 2 people going
Washington, DC - 3 people going
A rally of fewer than half a dozen people isnt very intimidating, and neo-fascists depend on that dynamic to instill fear. Thats kind of their thing."

(54,325 posts)I'm surprised that 1.) that many right wing extremists signed up for such an event on Cape Cod, and that 2.) that many right wing sympathizers could find it on a map.

(82,849 posts)First, how are their meager numbers going to get the money together to go to all those rallies? They haven't impressed me as the sort of people with a lot of disposable income. Second, 36 rallies are just going to show how meager their numbers are. Sure, there might be a lot of Nazis near enough to Baton Rouge to fill a school bus, but you think you're going to get that kind of turnout in Cape Cod? Third, we're on to them. Wherever they decide to band together and show their ugly mugs in public, we're going to be there in overwhelming numbers, taking pictures and videos, and making these miscreants internet famous.
So bring it on, you numbskulls.
