This disturbing story tells us what we are up against with regard to people who still support Trump. Talk about alternative facts! They live in a different universe. They are wrong about Trump's motivation (he doesn't care about helping Americans, all he cares about is lining his pockets), they don't understand what racism is (news flash, calling Mexican's rapists is racist whether you believe it or not), and they don't understand immigration (a wall won't stop it, more people are here because they overstayed their visas than because they crossed the desert).

We need to just give up on Trump's die hard fan. We need to target the people who didn't vote, whether they couldn't (target the new Jim Crow) or whether they wouldn't (give them something to get excited about).

People like these who worship authoritarians have a blind side when person uses them or harms them: they can't admit they've been duped because then they have *nothing*. So they desperately reach for any talking point to defend their leader/emotions.
