Trump slams Ryan and McConnell for creating a mess just weeks before crucial debt ceiling vote

Donald Trump is back to attacking the leadership of his own party.

In a pair of tweets sent out on Thursday morning, Trump accused Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) of creating a “mess” ahead of a crucial vote to raise the debt ceiling this September.

“I requested that Mitch M & Paul R tie the Debt Ceiling legislation into the popular V.A. Bill (which just passed) for easy approval,” he wrote. “They didn’t do it so now we have a big deal with Dems holding them up (as usual) on Debt Ceiling approval. Could have been so easy-now a mess!”

1. The Democrats aren't going to hold up the debt ceiling bill unless they add something bad to it...

if the rest of didn't have to live in it too. Can't we just find a deserted island somewhere where they can live and act out all of their right-wing Republican dystopian fantasies (with the stipulation that they have no access to nukes and standing military) so that the rest of us free-thinking and compassionate people can progress and evolve our society?

First, he rewrites history. Second, he doesn't have the slightest clue of about debt ceiling politics or how Congress works in general.
