It's looking like that might be the case. They're predicting two feet of rain or more all along the Gulf Coast of Texas, and that has the potential of displacing a helluva lot of Texans.
Now, Trump did manage to appoint a FEMA Administrator, William B. "Brock" Long, but who knows whether Trump gives a crap about this storm or even knows about it?
Keep an eye on Texas, everyone, over the next three or four days. It's going to be a dramatic storm that stays pretty still and will dump huge amounts of rain and wind on the Gulf Coast.
What will The Donwald do?

(19,036 posts)The wind speed is what most people pay the most attention to, but this storm may stall out right on the coast for almost a week while still drawing energy from the gulf. 4-6 days of torrential down pours and hurricane / near hurricane winds would create unbelievable destruction.

(7,808 posts)to be distributed to the needy. He'll spend about 10 minutes total, including the speech inside the only safe building in town.
People will then swoon about how much he cares and moan about Obama and HRC,
PINO will then ignore every other natural disaster for the next 6 months, but nobody will notice.
