The grounds for impeachment are growing
Impeachment is not a criminal process. It is a political one. So far, Congress now has several avenues to remove the President. All can be seen as "High Crimes and Misdemeanors".
We are all aware of the noose tightening concerning about collusion with Russia to change the outcome of the 2016 election.
Impeachment Count ONE: Treason and violation of the Logan Act.
Continued co-mingling of business interests with official duties have led to deep and palpable conflicts of interest.
Impeachment Count TWO: Violation of the Emoluments Clause of the US Constitution.
By using his position to attempt to thwart criminal and congressional investigations, the President violated Federal law.
Impeachment Count THREE: Obstruction of Justice for the attempted terminarion of the DOJ investigation culminating in the firing of the FBI Director.
Impeachment Count FOUR: Obstruction of Justice for the attempted coercion of Congress to compel them to terminate THEIR investigations.
The former Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona was pardoned as a personal favor, outside of historical process, and to further the President's political agenda.
Impeachment Count FIVE: Abuse of Power for the improper use of the power of pardon for personal gain.
Additional counts are possible based on the President's financial dealings with organized crime syndicates including money laundering and tax evasion.
Congress SHOULD be pretty busy right now. Sadly, the GOP, for now, is willing to look the other way, and hope their constituents will be happy taking selfies while wearing their MAGA hats.
