I am at the point where I don't want to hear about the next horrible thing he does,

or the next view of outrage.

I am interested in only a few possible phrases.

"He is impeached"

or

"I've had enough....I quit"

Everything else is just window dressing and enrages with no sanity or release.

Trump's counting on that, so take a small break and determine what you need to do to stay energized. WhiskeyGrinder Aug 2017 #7

because Trump is banking on most people getting disgusted and no longer paying attention.

I understand, and I agree to a point. I just want to fade into my bread and circuses (hell, my fave baseball team is looking good this year), but duty says I must pay attention and try to fight back.

It's like horror movies where people keep shooting at the monster and he keeps coming.

I'm starting to think this piece of excrement will end up killing us all.

pass on information to those who can physically attend rallies or have networking with others who can attend as well.

But the sight of the Cretin's face on every damn news feed makes me puke.
I expect the vilest, most ignorant, hideous behavior and the billious narcissist never fails to pass those expectations.

I have to remove the visuals, block out the voice.

If you can afford to shut it out for some time because the right's actions don't affect you directly, that means you have some level of privilege, which you should use to fight for others. If you need to drop out for true self-care, don't announce it -- just do it and then come back when you're ready to fight some more. Otherwise you're just spreading a message of apathy and despair.
