Tornado warning for our city is now over. (Yay!)

Hope DUers affected by Harvey are OK. It's been a very bad night and morning for many.

Heavy rain, more flooding, and the chance of more tornadoes remains. Damn Pooka.

And I'm in SW Louisiana, not Texas.

DUers, be sure to let everyone know you are OK when you have the chance.

1. Phew, glad it's over. I hate tornadoes, so unpredictable and sudden. And ultra-damaging.

2. So, true. You never really know because they turn on a dime.

We're still watching because conditions are still ripe, but one warning down.

Animals are coming up away from the creek and seeking shelter on porches and covered fronts. Those that can't climb trees. I've seen rabbits and deer, so far.

We have another 24 hours of this according to the weather people.

4. Thanks. I'm OK. I'm more worried about others. It's ugly here but it's devastating for others.

And then I think about the person who is supposed to be a leader and - makes it all the more worse.
