Do not come to the greater Houston area without a boat.

I live in a area higher in elevation so I am ok.

My drainage system is working great.

No standing water in my yard.

Other people are not so lucky.

It is still raining .

It did stop for awhile which really helped.

The ditch was empty before the rain started again.

But the water is running fast.

The city dug out the ditches a few weeks ago.

So no grass to slow down the drainage.

I think I saw some lighting.

So they can be rescued.

I thankful to live where I do.

My old house is on blocks .

The rain is slowing down.

The street is flooded.

My backyard is not flooded.

The front yard as some water.

It us getting daylight now.

If my neighborhood floods the lower areas are really in bad shape.

I think the street has about a 1 foot of water maybe more.
