Gillespie: Romney doesn't want to 'politicize' Olympics

Mitt Romney doesn't seem to have much of a problem with U.S. Olympic uniforms made in China.
"He believes we shouldn't politicize the Olympics," Romney senior adviser Ed Gillespie said when asked Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press" if the candidate had concerns with the matter. "He believes that we should stand by our athletes and make sure that they have the best experience possible."
The revelation last week that the Ralph Lauren-designed uniforms were made in China sparked anger among members of Congress, but Romney's team signaled the presumptive GOP presidential nominee doesn't want to get involved -- despite his own past history with the Olympic Games.
Gillespie said the fact that the uniform contract went for overseas work is a sign of the president's economic failures.

Give Harry Reid credit for his work the week, goes out and says Romney didn't pay taxes and stokes the uniform controversy.

Just shows they are desperate. So obvious an attempt to avoid answering the question!

Yup, for "Mitt's Olympics" the manufacture of the US team uniform was outsorced to a nation ruled by a gang of murderous thugs. Best not speak of that, eh, Mittens?
