CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – Several people have been killed and several others have been injured in a shooting at a Clovis library, according to the Eastern New Mexico News.

Police surrounded the library just after 4 p.m.

According to police scanner traffic, air ambulances have been dispatched and at least one victim was taken to the Clovis airport.

This is a developing story.

7. The library!?

Unthinkable! Kids with their parents or just kids in the kid area, young teen area with after school activities. Who would shoot in a library? I cannot imagine a disgruntled librarian who would do such a thing so who?

This is so sad. Other than a school this seems so tragic. Libraries are safe places, or they were.
