Could this be the bombshell everyone has been waiting on??

Why was there all the secrecy with the Trump team with their Russian connections? Why did each of them choose to lie about meeting with Russians? How would reporters know the truth if they stumbled over it?

Today, we find out that Trump was wheeling and dealing during his campaign to make a deal with Vladimir Putin to build a large Trump Tower in Moscow, perhaps the tallest in all of Europe? Naturally, Trump would not want this fact known during his campaign. This was likely perceived by him as a much larger violation of the Constitution than his operating the Trump International Hotel out of the Old Post Office Building. This would be an impeachable offense, even in the mind of Donald Trump.

So, it appears that the entire Trump team went into secrecy mode around January of 2016? However, it is very doubtful that they stopped the wheeling and dealing. It was done undercover, thru the back doors of Trump Tower and thru secret meetings arranged by Don Jr. and others. The quest to make money and make business deals did not stop with Donald Trump being nominated as the next President of the United States. That is when General Michael Flynn was busted making a deal with the Russians, unknown to our intelligence agencies. Fortunately, he was caught on a phone call that had been tapped on the Russians.

It now appears that Trump wanted his Trump Tower in Moscow and Putin wanted the sanctions lifted that were put in place by Barack Obama. One was contingent upon the other. Trump had already signed the paperwork to build the Tower in Moscow. He had gotten the financing approved thru the VTB Bank, which was owned by Putin and the Russian government to the tune of 60.9%.

In my opinion, this is the bombshell that we have been waiting on.

Truth is, he's here until 2020. I know it's hard to swallow but that's the truth. We best work on our message to GOTV for 2018 and 20.

And also, why did he want to set up a secret channel of communication between the White House and Putin, outside the parameters of any intelligence oversight??

then this country is dead. Republicans will secure gerrymandering. They will continue to suppress the vote. Judgeships will be filled by conservative Christians demagogues.

I don't think we can overestimate the importance of winning state elections and winning congress.

Apparently the sanctions really enraged him and are very concerning to him, not for Russia's sake so much, but because he sent so much money overseas. If he lost power, his name would immediately join the list of people whose overseas assets were seized. If Democrats were in power, of course. Very much look forward to the day.

and other countries.

Not just him, but the Russian oligarchs, too. It's complicated. I've read articles explaining one of the processes, and it's complicated.

This is one of the reasons the sanctions is so important to Putin. When the U.S. confiscated the Russian "compound" here, that took away one of the places that Russia used for spying and laundering money. At least that's what I remember reading.

There's a reason he and the oligarchs do this. The article explained it, but I forget. It's possible that he does it because when he uses money in other countries, other countries have laws about the source of money. So Putin can't use his illegal money "as is." It must be cleaned. For example, to buy real estate in New York, which is a thing the Russians do. The U S won't take dirty money.

to put it beyond the reach of seizure by whoever replaced him in power.

It's a kleptocracy, you know. His partners support him in power as long he satisfies their greed for always increasing money and power. In symbiotic relationship with this plutocracy is the very powerful Russian mafia, apparently not part of it and but definitely often in mutually beneficial partnership.

The international sanctions, but especially European and American, arising from Putin's political and military adventuring threaten to topple those alliances. I've scanned a few articles on that subject. The various sanctions are costing them all a whole lot, which makes it extremely important for him to keep the Democrats out of power. Hillary would have tightened that winch.

Putin just may also be getting too big for his partners' comfort. He murders people like them who get in his way and/or whose wealth he covets, but also -- as probably the wealthiest man on the planet -- Putin's now Fort Knox, and they're mostly a pack of jumped-up criminals.

That's what a businessman does, or so we would be told.
