it's like asking what should be done to resolve Palestine/Israel conflict. Certain things in this world have no solution.

... and replace him with an intelligent adult.

That's my "solution" - as impossible as it is.

slow them down with each president; now we got trump who escalated it; NK doesn't care, they'll nuke someone without a blink but maybe then this country will finally wake up and remove trump by force

I would focus on that, at this point.

Stop talking about it in terms of what/why the US wants, and discuss support of South Korea.

Then work behind the scenes to de-escalate as much as possible.

Let the UN take as much of the initiative as they're willing.

Baby steps.

It's a very tough nut.

worriedly,
Bright

the US should plant stories and evidence that top leaders and generals in North Korea are cooperating with the US in a plot to overthrow Kim.

As more and more top leaders and generals are killed for no reason, the remainder will eventually take a stand and kill him.

IT was the German military that tried to take out Hitler. It will have to be the North Korean military that takes out Kim.

We have 2 options...Pay off the "dear boy leader" while kicking the can down the road again or all out confrontation... I guess a bounty on his worthless ass is already in play, shhhh just speculating, however China must realize that their profiting off of our economy while our nation is being targeted with destruction by their proxy antagonist doesn't sit well in the Wal-Mart parking lots across America...

I care about the EXTREME danger that exist right here in America. We have a Russian agent and enemy combatant sitting in the Oval playing president. He was hacked into office rather than elected. This is the greatest danger to our Republic.

In 1994, he negotiated an agreement on behalf of the Clinton administration that held until 2002 - when Bush* broke it by including North Korea in his "Axis of Evil."

NK has nuclear weapons. That is a fact. They have joined the nuclear club. Like other members of the club, they are now basically immune to conventional military threats, and initiating a nuclear attack against them would be an appalling crime.

So we leave them alone. We stop threatening them. We should work with South Korea to try to de-escalate and normalize the situation. Eventually, probably within the next 20 years, the current regime will fall apart or reform. But even then they will likely retain their nuclear weapons. Nobody else has given them up.

We all know the game NK is playing.

They want attention...but we should just ignore them.

Like children having a fit.
