They sheltered in place & they've maintained contact with the ISS.

Being NASA (smart folks) I imagine they built a hurricane-proof building on high ground & have generators/fuel on site that can power them for weeks.

Obviously this is not the time to beat down on Houston but, when this is over, perhaps they can take a real deep look at how the city has been built. These days, a "500 year food" occurs every two years, as a guest on Rachel said yesterday.
