Something is happening regarding trump's tenure in the White House.

Some Republicans seem to know something is coming to a head as high officials and people close to them are in near-open defiance of trump.

Secretary of State Tillerson was recently quoted as saying: "The President speaks for himself" as regards American values.

Defense Secretary Mattis told American troops to hold the line until we get through the mess we're in (paraphrased). And he also just put trump's transgender troop ban on hold for review.

Also wasn't it telling that Pence was in the situation room with top officials discussing hurricane relief for Texas while trump was at Camp David and out of the loop except by a TV monitor connection.

And then there was the statement by Interior Secretary Zinke's daughter, a Navy veteran — "The Interior secretary's daughter slams Trump's transgender policy


(CNN)The daughter of a key Trump administration Cabinet member is speaking out against the President's policy banning transgender people from serving in any capacity in the military.
President Donald Trump abruptly announced the new policy in July in a series of tweets, saying the US military "cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail."

Jennifer Detlefsen, the daughter of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, slammed the policy and the President in an expletive-laden Instagram post.

"This man is a disgrace. I've tried to keep politics out of my social media feed as much as possible, but this is inexcusable," said Jennifer Detlefsen in a caption of a photo quoting the President's tweets on the subject in late July. Detlefsen, a Navy veteran like her father, had strong words for the President. "This veteran says sit down and shut the fuck up, you know-nothing, never-served piece of shit."

trump has not responded harshly as he usually does when challenged. He must know the special council's investigation is closing in on him too.
