Televangelist Jim Bakker: Christians will start a civil war if Trump is impeached

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/348418-televangelist-jim-bakker-christians-will-start-new-civil-war-if

BY JOSH DELK - 08/29/17 01:44 PM EDT

Televangelist Jim Bakker is predicting that Christians would begin a second civil war in the U.S. if President Trump were impeached.

"If it happens, there will be a civil war in the United States of America. The Christians will finally come out of the shadows, because we are going to be shut up permanently if we're not careful," he said on "The Jim Bakker Show" in a clip highlighted by Right Wing Watch.

to conduct their lives according to the fundie view. I repeat Christ NEVER joined government to force people to his way and it is about time you fundies learn from your Master instead of employing your human ego (which the Good Book warns you about functioning from ego) And if it means civil war then fine ....come on.

They're the ones with the collection money, the political clout, the assumption of good intentions.

Question I keep asking: Does the word Christian refer to people who act in the way that Jesus would have approved of? Or does Christian mean the group of people who self-identify as such?

Jesus was a Jew who was killed for rousing the public. If he really existed.

Christians are people following a religion started by Paul that morphed into the defining belief in the west for the past 1500 years. Evangelical Christians are honest descendants of generations of Christians willing to oppress or kill those who do not share their faith.

Have a nice evening.

There will be trump rallies and protest as the lock him up movement turns out in force. Antifa will throw piss balloons and neos will punch people, but the last trump rally will be 3 or 4 people in a gazebo with tattered maga hats surrounded by counter protesters chanting lock him up, and trump claiming biggest crowd ever.

Anyway, if this is a common feeling among Christian conservatives (not sure?), then it really shows that they have no respect for the nation and its laws. They are by far the largest anti-american threat we have in our country today. They have large numbers and they are well armed. If the continue talking like that then they will continue to be viewed as an increasing threat. Far greater than the relatively small number of Islamic extremists or militant far-leftists in country.

*If you're reading this and you're a conservative who seriously thinks you might take up arms because you don't think your guy should face the same rules that were used to impeach Clinton, then please think twice before becoming a terrorist simply 'cause your guy is a moron that no sane rational person wants in office. Let our system work it out. Don't be an anti-american asshole... Do you really want to be compared to Osama Bin Laden? You'll be the same. There won't be any statues of you made. No holidays celebrating you or your terrorist acts. You will go down as Trump's terrorists and that's about it.
