Why are Republicans going unchallenged by the media and still talking about

instituting massive tax cuts in the face of massive hurricane recoveries?

Shouldn't tax cuts be discussed only when the economy is humming and government revenue is up?

I know it is all about Donors, but it is frustrating to see the need for tax cuts go unchallenged by the corrupt, advertising driven corporate media.

It's "not the time or place" to talk about climate change in response to hurricanes, but it's OK to bring up more tax cuts?

night. His response was, "Well, we are going to talk about it!"

Our system of government is broken when our leaders (currently Republicans) are ignoring common sense to perform their Quid Pro Quo's for their Donors. Funny how there are not investigations into this illegal practice, it is so widely accepted the Koch brothers publicly say they will not give campaign money if Republicans do not do "X" or if they do "Y". This is illegal, right? (I do not practice in this area)

Funny how we never hear about deficits and the debt when a Republican is president. Under a Democrat, that's all we hear about. It's all framing to give the R's more power and hobble a D administration.

Corporations only exist to make money. Expecting them to have any level of social conscience is misguided.

I watched BP control the media along the Gulf Coast with their ad dollars. No negative victim stories were reported or they would lose the huge advertising money BP was paying. The national news was the same way, they promised to follow up on the story after they capped the well, but very little happened. Virtually nothing about how badly the litigation went and is still going.

BP even went so far as to buy up almost all of the documentaries that were about to come out!

Next to campaign finance, the second thing that should be addressed should be busting up the media and banking oligarchies, revamp the FCC and put a truth requirement in news broadcasting and punditry. Propaganda by big money is killing this country!
