During the Viet Nam era, many of us were pro-peace, not anti-war. I don't want to bore the younger generations with other examples of protesting for something, not against something, like Rev. King or Gandhi.

Yes, the Republican Party is responsible for the rise in fascism. The Republican strategy of divide and conquer has created a world where "framing" the issue is everything. We will lose if hate and violence eclipse the message of peace and love.

The R's have taken the violent group the Black bloc and melded them with all of the peaceful protesters. The strategy has worked quite well, just about every cable news network is claiming that Antifa is just as bad as the neo-Nazis and White Supremacists. When anyone asks me about Antifa I ask them, you mean the Black bloc or the peaceful protesters?
