until recent years. In the last decade or two, he's become recognized much more. Elisha Cooke Jr., gone for more than twenty years now, was another who preceded him. R.I.P. Mr. Stanton.

Oh my even movies like Escape from New York, Godfather 2, Kelly's Heros, Cool Hand Luke, and I'm not even thinking hard....wow, one of my favorite character actors along with J Walsh..
