Anyone have the applicable statutes for lying on FEC disclosure?

Since Romney said he had no post-1999 Bain involvement on his Federal Election Commission financial disclosure form it would be useful to know the specific language, penalty, etc..

It's perjury, but what is the applicable statute? Is it precisely the same as, say, misrepresentations on your 1040, or is there a separate law governing an FEC filing?

Thanks in advance.

and I don't think anything happened to him. Maybe a slap on the wrist, but they don't actually administer the wrist slap until after they've installed you into your office.
