If Drumpt manages to start simultaneous wars with NK

and Iran he would have to begin the draft to increase the size of the Armed Forces. We don't have the forces to fight both those countries at the same time. The Draft might get otherwise disinterested folks to vote again.

The rich and powerful won't be drafted, so the really important people won't be at risk.

but it won't get apathetic people to go out and vote.

If you're hot for the draft, you're just going to have to wait about 20 years longer. Too many of us remember what a draft was like, what it did, and what it did not do. It didn't make rich men's sons serve in the armed forces and it didn't make people vote.
