isn't in place by then, the most likely options are:

- The GOP does nothing and the coup is complete.

- The GOP has already been openly speaking against him and ignoring his whims. Enough may well see this as unjustifiable obstruction to the point where they reinstate Mueller as an Independent Prosecutor as opposed to "special." Appointed as an Independent, Trump has no power to wield against him.

- The GOP could see that as clear evidence that Trump will not allow an investigation and an indefensible act of Obstruction of Justice and they impeach solely on that.

What I think happens? The GOP will tell the likes of Malcolm Nance privately that they are waiting for Mueller because his reputation is sterling and if there are goods to bring Mueller will bring them.

They want the cover to get rid of him that Mueller will give them, so I suspect the GOP would reinstate Mueller and let the investigation grind.
