Brazilian Olympic equestrian team bought American-made saddle pads

http://www.wkrn.com/story/19035989/wilkers-saddle-pads-brazilian-olympic-team

"The U.S. Olympic team may not be wearing American made uniforms during the opening ceremony in London, but another Olympic team will be sporting products made in Middle Tennessee during the games.
The Brazilian Olympic equestrian team is using saddle pads produced by Wilker's Custom Horse Products in Cool Springs.

"It's fun to know that somebody is actually wanting to use your product in another country and that if I'm watching the Olympics and see the team ride I can say, ‘Hey, that's something our country made,'" said owner Marvin Wilker.

The business made a dozen white custom saddle pads with kelly green and yellow trim and piping for the team.

"They specifically asked for our product because we could do the custom colors," said Wilker.
An embroidery business out of state later added the Brazilian flag to both sides of the saddle pads.
"I think people are starting to realize made in America is good for everybody," said Wilker."

(In a local tv interview, Wilker said that his company has made saddle pads for the US team in past Olympics, but were not asked this year. In fairness, the story doesn't say for sure that the pads are being outsourced this time, so I suppose it's possible that Rafalca and his teammates will be wearing threads from some other American source. Maybe someone could ask Mitt to clarify, since he's all about the Olympics).

"We have determined that fat, lazy liberal union workers in the USA are being grossly overpaid for making saddle pads, and so we are buying this company and moving it to Somalia where the workers earn 10 cents a hour -- a rate that allows a MASSIVE RETURN ON INVESTMENT for us ELITE ONE PERCENTERS (R)."
