Hillary Clinton: Romney's ads a 'waste of money'

“I am out of politics, and I haven’t seen any of the ads that you’re talking about,” Clinton said, who has appeared in two Romney ads thus far. “But I have to say it’s a waste of money. Everybody knows I ran against President Obama in 2008, that’s hardly news. Everybody knows we ran a hard fought campaign and he won. And I have been honored to serve as his secretary of state.”

In one, romney basically flat out calls President Obama a liar over the Bain thing and uses then candidate Hillary Clinton's words, "Barack Obama, you've got a lot of explaining to do." The other one is similar except it's about the economy. Both are distortions at best. And neither should use Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's words against President Obama.
I'm glad Hillary said what she said about the ads. They irritate me. When they come on, the remote gets a workout.
edited for gawdawful typing. The ol' two fingered method just isn't getting it done.

with Strickland. Don't recall what it was about, but I think NAFTA mailers calling out the Clinton Administration.

Glad she made those remarks. This kind of thing is expected in campaigns, and given that she is SoS, it really didn't carry too much weight in the Willard ad, IMO.
